Special Speaking Event at Owamni by The Sioux Chef

As part of the Yale Alumni Association’s Redpath Speaker Program, Paul Freedman, the Chester D. Tripp Professor of History at Yale, will share his specialized knowledge of the cultural history of cuisine with alumni on March 2, 2023 at an evening dinner event to be held at Owamni, the award-winning restaurant of The Sioux Chef, Sean Sherman. Owamni features indigenous cuisine of Mni Sota Makoce and is located inside the Water Works Pavilion in Mill Ruins Park at 420 South First Street in Minneapolis, between 3rd Avenue South and 5th Avenue South.

The price for the event is $85 per person, which includes a three-course family-style meal prepared from Owamni’s award-winning modern Indigenous menu. A cash bar featuring wine and mocktails will also be available. Because seating is limited to 40, a registration may be only for up to two people. This will be a special event!
